Robert Francis Lynch
August 16, 1948 ~ March 12, 2023 (age 74)
Robert Francis Lynch, 74 of Kennett Square, PA died peacefully Sunday March 12, 2023 with family by his side.
Born August 16, 1948 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Francis James Lynch and the late Elizabeth Loretta Milbourne Lynch.
Robert grew up in Kennett Square, went to St. Patrick’s School where he was an altar boy and graduated from Kennett High School.
He worked at Wyeth Laboratories, Epcot at Disney and QVC.
He was a member of The Knights of Columbus, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, VFW and previously a member of the New London Hunt Club.
Robert (aka Bob & Bobby) loved being a jokester, had a love for music and dancing, enjoyed playing golf, was an avid sports fan, enjoyed trivia with friends, and loved his Irish heritage. He also coached little league and Babe Ruth baseball.
He proudly served the military starting in 1966, and was an Air Force Sergeant from May 1969 to April 1970.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Carrie Lynch (Chris) and Kelly Lynch; brothers, Timothy Lynch (Starr); Michael Lynch (Debbie); sister, Catherine Cazier (late Donald Cazier); grandsons, Matthew May and Zachary May; nieces Sheila, Lauren, Ashley, and Alexis; nephews Tim & James as well as his family at the VFW Post 287 in Coatesville, PA
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 am
Interment will be private.
